HUMAN RESOURCES BUSINESS PARTNER – EASTERN EUROPE

In this role, you will lead Human Resources for Operations across Eastern Europe, partnering with our leaders in our Bulgaria superhub as well as our Russia and Turkey satellite locations. You’ll be the key point of contact across the entire Bulgaria site, providing strategic guidance and decision-making.

As a part of our global Human Resources team in Operations, you will work with a group of talented HR professionals to lead and drive organizational vitality, strategy, and talent development. Collectively, we work together to set our talent and organizational priorities and ensure our organization is poised to meet changing business needs.

What will you do in this role?

  • Execute the HR delivery strategy for the NielsenIQ Operations team across Eastern Europe

  • Work in partnership with your client group leadership team to lead, develop, and implement HR actions and agreed initiatives that tie to the organizational goals

  • Create recommended organizational design and strategy as the organization evolves to support the changing business environment, talent, and client needs

  • Work in collaboration with our People Team (local) HR business partners to drive consistency across markets, with direct responsibility for the Bulgaria associates

  • Coordinate with COE support as needed for your client groups, acting as the SME for Operations, including talent acquisition (hiring requests) and compensation adjustment reviews or requests

  • Work as a part of a project team on at least one global operations initiative, including Workforce Architecture, Competency Matrix Development, etc.

  • Analyze and leverage HR reporting metrics for your client groups to execute data-driven actions and positive change, including diversity & inclusion, engagement, talent development, and more

  • Partner and coach your client group leadership on performance management and the annual talent review process, including succession planning

  • Lead annual compensation planning for your client groups, including annual incentive and salary planning

  • Coordinate SAP data management for Bulgaria operations superhub with global HR Representative

  • Facilitate onboarding process new hires at the Bulgaria superhub as required

  • Partner with the Bulgaria site leader to identify and execute engagement activities at the site

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in related discipline

  • 5-7 years of Human Resources Manager or Business Partner experience, with a preference in a multinational company

  • Experience in strategic human resources talent and performance management for a client group(s)

  • Previous experience leading annual compensation planning for a client group(s) including merit and bonus planning

  • Regional or multi-country HR experience preferred

  • Strong knowledge of European employment law and HR practices 

  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Suite

  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail

  • Strong ability to effectively organize large data sets and use data to drive decisions

  • Strong project management skills, having deployed HR projects previously

  • Strong ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a results-orientation and excellent time management skills

  • Strong oral and written communication skills, across all levels of the organization

  • Engaging and proactive team player

  • SAP proficiency (input & reporting) desired
