About the job

The global digital intelligence team is looking for a Data Scientist who will support our product creation journey. The data scientist should be able to guide development on data integration of unstructured social data, small data, and other large structured data sets. They must have strong experience using a variety of data mining/data analysis methods, using a variety of data tools, building and implementing models and using/creating algorithms and creating/running simulations.

Responsibilities

As a key member of the Digital intelligence team, the role will need to understand the Client’s problem and translate those into technical solutions. The role will primarily focus on product creation, product development and providing guidance on various analytics methods for data analytics.

 

Qualifications

  • Master’s in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or another quantitative field/ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with a certified course in data analytics

  • 5-7 Years of experience 

Experience in technical skills

  • Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts (regression, correlation structures, statistical tests, linear programming) and their applications.

  • Experience creating and using advanced machine learning algorithms and statistics: regression, simulation, scenario analysis, modelling, clustering, decision trees, convolutional neural networks, linear optimization and or related models.

  • Hands on experience with common data science toolkits, such as Python, scikit learn, numpy, pandas, plotly, TensorFlow, ElasticSearch, Auto-ML platforms like AWS Sagemaker

  • Experience with one or more of the open source NLP frameworks (NLTK, SpaCy, ELMo, BERT, ULMFiT, ERNIE, GPT3)

  • Experience with modelling on data from 3rd party data API’s: Google Analytics, Adwords, Social media tools like Talkwalker, Brandwatch Facebook Insights, etc.

  • Proficiency in using databases and query languages across SQL and NoSQL databases, and preferably with Graph DBs as Neo4j

  • Experience with distributed data/computing tools: Map/Reduce, Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Gurobi, MySQL, etc.

  • Experience visualizing/presenting data for stakeholders using Power BI, opensource, D3.JS, spotfire, Tableau
