The Manager role for Nielsen Sports will be responsible for overseeing the Account Manager team, leading project initiatives, and collaborating with counterparts to shape the Rights Holder team delivery strategy. 





  • Manage up to 5 direct Account Manager reports, responsible for their growth and development in conducting employee reviews and assessments

  • Oversee project deliverables, ensuring highest quality analysis, recommendations and actionable insights are provided to clients

  • Independently lead client relationships with control over day-to-day communications, project setup and execution, and all reporting needs for key clients

  • Work in tandem with the Commercial team to build and provide solutions that meet the needs of clients across both Sports and Nielsen Media offerings

  • Manage internal processes for project set up and lead project briefing meetings with relevant stakeholders

  • Advise clients on strategies that will advance their targeted goals and serve as a primary lead in presenting findings to clients

  • Work collaboratively with internal subject matter experts including Market Research, Media Analytics, Production and Data Analysis

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferably in Business, Marketing, Market Research, or related field

  • 3-5+ years of experience within the sports marketing, media or research industry

  • 2-3+ years of team leadership or people management experience

  • Effective organizational skills providing the ability to identify priorities and meet all deadlines

  • Customer-centric work experience with ability to establish and maintain customer relationships

  • Intellectual curiosity, critical thinking, problem-solving and attention to detail

  • Ability to independently analyze data, draw conclusions and provide recommendations and insights

  • Self-starter with excellent initiative and communication skills

  • Advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Suite of products, specifically Excel (pivot tables, functions, formulas, charts, graphs) and PowerPoint
