NielsenIQ is building talent pipelines to meet future hiring demand. This is a pipeline role, while there is not an immediate opening, we want to build relationships with prospective match to our requirements, we’ll follow up with an exploratory conversation.

ABOUT THIS JOB

We are looking to hire passionate and agile individuals who can take a high degree of ownership and deliver results in a fast-paced and evolving business division.

The person will be involved in projects from an end to end perspective. His/ her primary responsibilities will be to identify analytic solutions that will answer client questions, execute them error-free, deliver results on time and manage client expectations.

The associate will be handling large amounts of e-commerce shopper transactional data. He/ she should be familiar with database structures and data processing tools to work efficiently with the high volume data. He/ she needs to be dynamic and work as a team player within the fast-growing business division.

The associate will work closely with the commercial team in interpreting the briefs and managing the deliverables for regular/ subscription and ad hoc business that is generated each month. He/ she will also actively support other internal stakeholders like the product leader in developing and testing new solutions.

As the associate grows in experience, the profile will require that he/ she starts building relationships with clients and internal stakeholders, and contributes towards improving our analytical solutions and value added insights.

RESPONSIBILITIES

●      Client Service and delivery

o   End-to-end responsibility of client projects

o  Scoping the project to suit client business needs – thinking of analytical solutions to suitably address business questions

o  Develop clear, convincing, informative and uniquely tailored reports/ presentations to suit different clients

o   Actively engaging clients and managing client expectations on deliverables

o Responsible for business revenue by managing quality and timely delivery of projects

o   Managing execution of multiple projects simultaneously

●      Working with different stakeholders – Internal and External

●      Delegating work to the junior executives in the team and prioritizing work

●      Developing and testing new analytic solutions

●      Support with the right solutions and insights while pitching for new clients

A self-starter with high levels of drive, resilience and a desire for professional excellence with a passion for data and analytics. The candidate will have an entrepreneurial mindset, exceptional attention to detail, data interpretation skills, creative and innovative problem solving skills, and demonstrate calmness during times of uncertainty and stress.

The Senior Executive has excellent communication skills and a natural ability to get along with people and establish strong and meaningful relationships with clients and others in the team. He/ she will be able to influence junior executives to follow in his/her directives and trust in his/ her judgments and insights.

QUALIFICATIONS/ SKILLS

  • Post Graduate in Computer Science/ Statistics/ MBA (Marketing as majors/ specialization subject) or any other related field with 2-3 years of experience in Data Analytics/ Data Science, preferably with some experience using large volumes of data or data wrangling. 

  • Expert level in at least one programming language. Preferably R or Python and experience working with visualization tools like Tableau, Spotfire, Power BI, etc.

  • Exposure to multivariate statistical modelling (e.g. clustering, regression, principal components and factor analysis, time-series forecasting, Bayesian methods) and machine learning (Random Forest, KNN, SVM, boosting and bagging, regularization etc.)

  • Past experience working with retail or online marketers/ aggregators or hands-on experience working with insights using consumer transaction data/ POS data/ Shopper panels / Panel and Data management is an added advantage

  • Strong analytic skills and ability to structure high volume data

  • High degree of ownership, agility and willingness to get tasks completed within short durations

  • Ability to simultaneously coordinate and track multiple deliverables, tasks and dependencies across multiple stakeholders / business areas

  • Adept in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint with good presentation skills

  • Experience in making excel simulators/ dashboards is a plus
