About the job

The SIP Analyst demonstrates accountability for implementation and ongoing administration of the Nielsen Global Sales Incentive Plans in their respective region.  This will include onboarding groups to our internal software that is used to calculate payments. In this role you will integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the organization, manage complex issues within a functional area of expertise, be involved in long-term planning, and contribute to the overall business strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep understanding of Nielsen’s incentive plans, Sales teams, and financial systems such as Salesforce and SAP
  • Work closely with Product Owner to write requirements for automation
  • Test and validate configuration changes and modify Plan rules in internal tool as necessary
  • Partner with other SIP Managers to share knowledge & best practices 
  • Maintain documentation of local processes and configuration in centralized playbook
  • Updating the system participant records for job changes, new hires, terminations, etc.
  • Creates other reports and analyses as necessary
  • Participate in local Finance and Sales team way of work, rhythms, and output consolidation
  • Own specific piece of Finance and Sales work and output, according to team organization
  • Ensure planning cycle and reporting requirement deadlines are met by facilitating and coordinating efforts across multiple functions to gather required data

About you

  • Degree in Accounting | Finance | Economics
  • At least 2-4 years of experience in Sales Operations and Finance
  • Ability and passion to anticipate, identify, and resolve complex financial issues

Competences

  • Data Domain Expertise (Expert PC skills, Office Package and working knowledge of accounting systems).
  • SAP, Oracle EPM, VB Macros are preferred, SQL programming highly preferred
  • Analytical Modelling Expertise (Ability to model, analyze information to take best business decisions)
  • Fluent in English (required)

  • Good numerical and mathematical reasoning
  • Communication skills (Ability to communicate effectively at all levels, both verbally and in writing, all functions and across board)
