About the job

We are looking for a talented Analytic Consulting Associate with strong skills on data analysis, insights generation and model knowledge to own or support, execute and conduct ASO and/or Market Structure project deliveries for our North America clients.  You will work collaboratively with the NielsenIQ Modeling and Delivery teams to lead the projects end to end for the local U.S. and Canada iA A&M Delivery Consultants and Leads, including project set-up (e.g. item definition, model matrix, model validation, etc.), working with simulation tools to create client scenarios, creating deliverable materials, and supporting presentations/training/tool delivery.



Drive Client Value 

  • Ensuring analysis results are of high quality from a statistical and a business logic viewpoint

  • Providing error free, on time results internally through the process and to clients

  • Working consultatively and creatively with NielsenIQ teams

  • Transforming client needs into project scope. Working with modelling team to get final results  

  • Working with the modeling team to validate model results, both statistically and face validity checks

  • Creation and execution of project plans for assigned work, including collecting, organizing and tracking data inputs as well as leading internal meetings

  • Intermediate and final deliverables accuracy and quality aligned to project scope

  • Conducting issue-based analyses and developing proactive, outcome driving insights; manage and put into practice SCQA

  • Model output manipulation to prepare client presentations and navigate delivery tools

  • Interpreting findings and draw conclusions from model results

Learning and Professional Development

  • Escalation of concerns/issues to Delivery Consultants and/or Principal in a timely and productive manner when needed

  • Seeking out learning and development opportunities to expand skill set

Process Improvement/Cost Leadership

  • Participating in analytic communities and teams that create and promote the development of best practices and thought leadership

  • Actively participating in and identifying opportunities for efficiencies, automation, standardization and ways to simplify processes in analyses and deliverable development

About you

¿Do you have previous experience in data analytics and data modelling? ¿Like to work in a multicultural environment and work with teams across locations? Be part of our team and analize econometric models and be able to answer customer questions regarding assortment.


  • Bachelor Degree

  • Demonstrated Analytical/Consulting proficiency

  • Demonstrated strength in client issue resolution

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Critical thinking; have the ability to identify and diagnose errors/issues independently

  • Proactive; need to look ahead and anticipate what’s coming rather than sit back and wait to be told to do something 

  • Enthusiasm for learning the practical application of statistical analysis to address business issues

  • Must be able to effectively manage time and a variety of responsibilities

  • Detail oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; possess understanding of statistics

  • MS Office – Advanced

  • English Proficiency – Advanced
