What role does diversity on-screen and behind the camera play in driving tune-in, subscriptions, and engagement? 


Inclusion Analytics UX Engineer

How would you like to build a UI from the ground up for one of our hottest and newest products? If you are creative and motivated, diversity and representation is important to you in media and entertainment, we want you to run with this.  Our team combines data from across Nielsen, including our industry-standard audience measurement and our industry-leading content metadata.  


We enrich that data and produce a wealth of metrics and insights that our clients depend on to improve the quality and diversity of their content.  But to truly enable our clients to make best use of the data, we need to provide a compelling user interface for visualizing and understanding those insights and integrating inclusion analytics into key workflows. We’re looking for a talented user experience engineer to help build that UI!


Our team is small, diverse, agile, and committed to shipping new capabilities aggressively.  We are highly collaborative and you will work directly with product owners, data engineers, application engineers, and designers to create the best possible product.


Your Profile 

  • Background developing component-based user interfaces, using technologies such as React
  • Background styling user interfaces with modern CSS techniques
  • The ability to communicate clearly and work independently
  • Familiarity with Git 
  • Ability to think about end implementation from a user’s perspective
  • Background in business intelligence or visualization tools is a plus!
