The UX Lead will ideally be based in New York, with an ability to visit the main office in Manhattan when needed. This role will be primarily responsible for managing the definition of and design efforts around the user experience for our new end to end Sponsorship management platform. In addition you will help refine and improve existing products across our sports portfolio. You will be part of a diverse team of product leaders tasked with transforming the Nielsen Sports product suite for the maturing marketplace for big data solutions.

In this role, you should be an accomplished and analytical product manager with a strong creative design capability. The UX Lead will be involved with the entire product cycle and will be expected to contribute to all aspects of the design process—including research, wireframing/prototyping, and visual design. You will be expected to collaborate with other members of the product, engineering and commercial teams to ensure best in class usability for our client base. 


Role Details



  • Reporting to the SVP product you will work with internal and external set of customers to understand requirements goals for an end to end sponsorship lifecycle management platform

  • Defining and/or creating wireframes, storyboards, sitemaps and screen flows

  • Defining/ creating product prototypes

  • Conducting usability testing

  • Developing personas and usage scenarios

  • Analyzing user feedback and activity, and iterating to enhance the user experience

  • Assisting with content development for product demos and POCs

  • Conducting competitor and customer analysis

  • Create mockups and designs of our front-end 

  • Work with engineering teams and technical product management teams to build and execute our front-end strategy





  • Passion for user experience, visual design and design thinking.

  • Bachelor’s degree in visual design, communication or psychology preferred.

  • 5-10 years of experience in product management of  visual design and user experience.

  • A solid understanding of graphic design and web technologies, and of wireframing tools such as Figma, Sketch, Axure RP and Balsamiq. A good grasp of design programs and tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks and InVision is also necessary. 

  • The PM must have the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and a willingness to keep their skills and industry knowledge current. 

  • A sense of ownership and ability to drive issues to closure

  • Be self-motivated but also collaborative

  • Desire to work in a fast-paced and fluid entrepreneurial environment

  • Interest in understanding client needs, potential pain relievers and gain creators

  • Ability to operate independently

  • Experience in sports media, and/or sports sponsorship is a bonus
