NIELSEN INDIA NAMED AMONG THE 100 BEST COMPANIES FOR WOMEN IN INDIA FOR THE THIRD CONSECUTIVE YEAR

2018 Working Mother & AVTAR Best Companies for Women in India recognizes corporates who sustain efforts towards improving women’s participation in the workforce

Mumbai, 1st October 2018  –  Nielsen India has been named among 100 best companies in India for women as per 2018 Working Mother & AVTAR survey for the third year in a row. The third edition of the 100 Best Companies for Women in India (BCWI) celebrates the corporates that have extended noteworthy efforts in making the workplace inclusive towards women. The 2018 edition witnessed participation of 345 companies across industries and they were assessed across multiple criteria including – workforce demographics, recruitment, retention and career advancement programs, safety and security initiatives, benefits, culture, leave and flexible work, and work-life programs.

Commenting on the recognition, Mahipal Nair, CHRO – South Asia, Nielsen, said, “At Nielsen India, we have always believed that diversity and inclusion are not only crucial to our growth but more importantly, comprise the core of our ability to innovate.
